The strategic goal of the air transport industry of the Russian Federation is to accelerate the transition to domestic aviation technology.

Currently, there are approximately 260 companies operating in the aviation industry.

Established competencies of the region in the development of aircraft industry projects

The aviation cluster consists of approximately 80 enterprises and organizations operating in the aviation industry:

- development, production, maintenance and modernization of aviation equipment,
- applied research and development in the field of aircraft assembly design,
- creation of new materials and technological processes,
- air transportation,
- training of highly qualified personnel,

JSC AVIASTAR – SP – A modern enterprise for the production of aviation equipment, which is part of the structure of the United Aircraft Corporation.
JSC AEROCOMPOSITE–Ulyanovsk – development and production of aircraft structural elements;

JSC SPEKTR-AVIA – aircraft painting;
