Special customs and tax regime in the SEZ territory
Customs duties and VAT are not payable on:
- Import, storage, processing, repackaging, utilization of imported goods, equipment, raw materials, spare parts and components on the SEPZ territory
- Export from the SEPZ territory of imported goods, equipment, raw materials, spare parts and components to countries outside the Customs Union (Re-export).
Advantages:
- Unlimited storage period;
- Possibility of processing of imported goods, assembly and production operations;
- Splitting/uniting of imported batches;
- Partial export;
Customs duties and VAT are paid when:
Export from the SEPZ territory of imported goods, equipment, raw materials, spare parts and components to Russia and Customs Union countries (Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan)
Advantages:
- Choice of payment of duties and VAT: for the manufactured product or for its foreign components
- Purchase of goods from suppliers from Russia and CU countries with 0% VAT when goods are placed under the procedure of a free customs zone.

- Wood processing products and construction materials
- Oil and gas equipment

- Ferroalloys, MEG
